It's no wonder that Marmoleum flooring has been a popular choice in homes and commercial buildings all over the world for over a century.
The secret to Marmoleum's success is in the unique recipe used to make it. It's a natural product made from linseed oil, rosin, jute, pine resin, limestone and wood flour. The linseed oil provides a durable finish; the rosin adds grip on wet floors; jute makes for a strong backing that resists moisture penetration; pine resin helps to prevent cracking or warping over time; limestone acts as filler and improves durability; wood flour gives the floor its knobbly appearance while also improving its strength. Marmoleum's antibacterial properties lead many homeowners to opt for this flooring over laminate options due to health concerns about chemicals off-gassing during installation or later use of their home's floors—a growing concern among consumers today.
Easy maintenance
The ease of maintenance is yet another benefit of Marmoleum. It is easy to clean, making the flooring good for use in areas with high foot traffic. This hardwearing material is resistant to stains and other forms of damage, and it’s easy to cut and shape as your needs change. For example, if you want new tiles in your kitchen or living room, Marmoleum makes it simple because it doesn’t require special tools or skills—just a utility knife!
You might be wondering: how do I install my new Marmolam? Fortunately for you (and anyone else who wants their floors), installation takes very little time at all! If you’re installing Marmolam yourself without professional help, we recommend laying out all tesserae first before gluing them down one by one with a hot glue gun (this will make things go much more smoothly). Once they're all glued down in place, just sweep away excess adhesive while avoiding contact between glue residue on your feet and the surface of your flooring (you can also wipe away remaining adhesive with damp cloth). Your new Marmoleum floor should be ready for use within 24 hours after installation so long as there are no obvious gaps between tiles when viewed from above ground level—if there are gaps visible after 24 hours then consider installing additional pieces until everything looks seamless again..
